Our greeter at the EA Press Conference.This year EA had a number of games to show off. And I even cared for most of these games. To power the majority of there games Each has created two new engines. The Ignite engine that is to power all of the new titles from EA Sports. The Frostbite 3 engine will power just about everything else. So what games did they show as there cream of the crop this year?
Hello fellow readers! IrishPride here to give my quick impressions of the new Borderlands 2 class, Krieg the Psycho.So last week we were at Denver Comic Con. While we were there, Raphael Sbarge (Kaidan Alenko) was at the convention and gave a great panel on his experiences on the Mass Effect series.

Today Square Enix Ltd announced the latest game in the Deus Ex franchise. DEUS EX: THE FALL is set in the year 2027. In it you play Ben Saxon, a former British SAS Mercenary who has undergone augmentation and is now reliant on a specific drug to stay alive; a drug that is supplied by powerful corporations that have taken control away from all (assumption here) governments. Now after he has been betrayed by the Tyrants, his former private military employers, he is searching for the truth behind this drug conspiracy. The price of failure for not finding this out could be not just own life, but all augmented humans. What could be the only rub? It is for iOS only. Check out the YouTube announcement below.
E3 2013 is quickly approaching, and with it comes a number of press conferences for video games.

Big news for The Gameslave, I am hosting a panel featuring Raphael Sbarge, the voice of Kaidan Alenko in Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3. This will be the first panel that I will have had the honor of moderating, so I am looking forward to it. The panel is Friday at 6:00 PM - 6:50 PM in the Hard Rock Café Room (506-507).

Well the Xbox Live press conference is over and we got some new and juicy details on what is to come for Microsoft & Xbox. Everyone introducing Xbox One! All what Microsoft really announced was Live TV, New Xbox Live experience, a partnership and games. With all that said lets get started!So I present to you my first attempt at live blogging an event. You may notice a break in times. The place streaming it had some issues with the Xbox and Kinect so I used my laptop as an emergency presentation computer so we could still watch. All times are in PT.
10:00 AM - The show begins.
10:02 AM - We are seeing a bunch of popular people talking about us and making the console more.
10:03 AM - Downside of watching the Xbox reveal on an Xbox with Kinect, it tries to activate some times.
10:04 AM - They are talking about the introduction of Xbox Live, HD gameing, and Kincect.
10:06 AM - They are talking about simplifing the home entertainment system.
10:12 AM - They are talking about a Kinect and voice integration on the system. Using hand motions to control access to the home screen and not lose what you are seeing.
This review can be summed up to one sentence. I really wanted to like Star Trek The Game. As a long term trekkie I love when something new based in the Star Trek universe comes out. I have third person Trek games, first person games, encyclopedias, a voice activated omnipedia, trivia games, and turn based strategy games; most of them I really liked. So when I learned that Namco was making a Star Trek game with the Gorn as the main enemies at least E3 I was excited. To learn that they had the actors from the new series reprising their roles for voices told me that I could at least expect the acting in the game to be good. I had high hopes for this game. Too bad they were misplaced.Are you unable to make it to E3 this year? Do you want to play the newest games that Nintendo has to offer though? Well Nintendo has good news. At select Best Buys you will be able to play the same games that Nintendo will have at their E3 booth. Different way to promote games that traditionally have only be accessible to those at E3, yes. A great idea, also yes. I guess since Nintendo is saving money on not doing a press conference this is a great use of those resources.
