Today Nintendo aired a special Nintendo Direct, one that focused on only one game, Super Smash Bros for the 3DS and Wii U. And they talked about a number of things. Characters, levels, release windows, and game modes were all the subject of today's Nintendo Direct.

It was announced today that Facebook will by Oculus, the company working on the really cool video game VR accessory, for $2 Billion. This is actually broken up into $400 million cash and 23.1 million shares of Facebook stock at about $64.10 per share (at today's closing). Oculus gets an additional $300 million if the system performs well. That is all well and good for them, but what does that mean for us? I have some speculation on this (and it is just that), and believe it or not, they are not all negative!
