The Professional Gamer - February 7, 2014

This week I am finally excited about a new game launch and started reading some classic SciFi. Read on to see what I've been up to.

Watching: I'm putting watching up first this week since it is by far the least interesting category. All that I managed to do was watch The Daily Show and Colbert Report along with half watching a few episodes of Chobits while working out.

Reading: I picked up a digital copy of Frankenstein from my local library and started reading through it during my lunch breaks. I am enjoying the gothic horror novel, which is often considered one of the first works of science fiction. So far, I am still learning about Frankenstein's past and the Monster has only made a brief appearance. I am hoping to have the book read before it is due back in two weeks.

Playing: Bravely Default! Just finished playing the demo for this, and I am going to order the full game post haste. This game represents a lot of the things that have been missing from Square's other major property, Final Fantasy; namely, exploration and a robust job system. The StreetPass features are also a lot of fun. Now, due to lack of planning, I've got to wait for the game to ship. Hopefully, it arrives soon so that I can begin discussing the full version.

That's all for this week. I've got to get back to my studying. Game on!
