The Professional Gamer - February 1, 2016

Hello, and welcome to another week here with the professional gamer.  This week I had a surprise due date and 12 hour work days for most of the week.  In spite of that, I managed to spend some time with some geeky pursuits.

First, I'm about 5 pages from finishing Ways to the West, which has been a very enjoyable read.  I love how Sullivan intersperses his travels, with interviews and discussion about the current public transit scene, and the history of the West.  The whole time I'm reading this book, I feel like I've found a great way to spend my time.

I finished watching One Punch Man and was actually very happy with the ending.  This has really been one of the few anime serials that has ended in a way that I felt satisfied but also wanted more.

And, on a whim, Crystal and I started watching Is is Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?.  I would have to say that the series is fairly average.  In a sentence, its a fantasy RPG-like harem anime.  The world building has been fun, but I fee like a lot of the characters clothing is too weird, especially Hestia.  In the course of this past week, I managed to watch 12 episodes of the series.  So, although it may not be super awesome, its not too bad either.

That's all I've got for this week.  Game on!
