Denver Comic Con Guests! Oh the Guests!

Greetings geeks and nerds! Over the past few weeks there have been two big announcements as guests go for Denver Comic Con. And I was too busy playing WoW: Legion and Zelda to pay enough notice to my inbox to notice the announcements. Shame on me. But now that I am taking a break (as in I stepped away long enough to actually ready my email) I wanted to do my own announcement for both of the most recent guests. Why? Why not?

First off we have a man that has been making music since 1984 and is a (or should be) a house hold name. The legend that is Weird Al Yankovic! In those 33 years Weird Al has released 14 albums. Of those 14 he has four Gold and six Platinum records; nominated for 11 Grammys and has actually won 4 of them. Weird Al will be at DCC 2017 all 3 days for signings and photo ops. While panels and events for him have yet to be announced, I smell a small concert! It just makes sense after all!.

The other recently announced guest is Nathan Fillion. That is right, grab your brown coat and you can have it signed by Captain Malcom Reynolds himself! Nathan Fillion is also known as Captain Hammer from "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog", voice acted as Johnny Worthington in "Monster University". He was also in "Guardians of the Galaxy" as 'Monstrous Inmate' and will be Simon Williams aka Wonder Man in "Guardian of the Galaxy 2".

Weird Al Yankovic and Nathan Fillion will be joined by other grand guests such as "Billie Piper ("Doctor Who", Bonnie Wright ("Harry Potter"), Eliza Dushku ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), Felicia Day ("Supernatural"), Finn Jones ("Marvel's Iron Fist", "Game of Thrones"), Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin (Netflix's "Stranger Things"), Khary Payton ("The Walking Dead"), Wallace Shawn ("The Princess Bride"), and "Gotham" stars Ben McKenzie, Morena Baccarin and Robin Lord Taylor.

Admittedly that list is taken straight from the press release instead of me retyping it.

This years DCC is looking to turn out grand! If you have not gotten tickets yet you can do so at http://popcultureclassroom.org/dcc/tickets/. 3 Day tickets are still available as of this writing, but speed passes are sold out. I hope to see you all June 30 - July 2 (yes later then normal in the year) the Denver Convention Center!
