Hi everyone! Back to back convention weekends sure take it out of me, but I’m back now to talk about what I’ve been doing for the past few weeks. I’ll have separate posts for the convention coverage coming out soon. For now, let’s talk a bit about the anime that I’ve found to watch in the past few weeks.

First up, I am watching through Run with the Wind slowly and intentionally. I’ve been running for many years now, and this anime is pulling a lot of chords with me. An injured runner, trying to get back into things? Yep, that’s kinda me right now. The slowest guy on the team, just trying to not drag everyone else down? Oh, yes, that’s where I was in high school. So, I’m watching it slowly and deliberately, trying to get as much enjoyment out of it as I can. I’m getting close to the half-way point now, and interested to see how the runners continue to develop as characters.

After spending a weekend a COAF with a bunch of voice actors, I decided to give Interviews with Monster Girls another chance. I tried to watch it when it was first released, and just didn’t get into it. I think there were a few scenes earlier in the series that hinted at some uncomfortable teacher/student dynamics. Fortunately, on further viewing, these fears did not materialize. And for most of the show, I was just wanting the two teachers to start dating. But it is very sweet, and fun.

And that’s all of the fun stuff that I’ve done outside of convention times. I’ll be back soon with some convention posts; please look forward to those. Have a great week, and game on!
