When the recording starts, the panelists were talking about how things have changed, but how far things still have to go. Then, the panel and audience shared recommendations of anime and manga that include good examples of representation, such as Bloom into You and Stripping the Flesh. Lastly, they talked about working in the voice-over industry as a queer person, which included some frank discussion about whether its better to get gender affirming care prior to trying to start a career. They also talked about other aspects of that diversity in voice-over that could be improved, such as disability and age.
