The Gameslave Podcast - S02E08 - COAF 2024 Somewhere Under the Rainbow

This week, we have a recording of the Somewhere Under the Rainbow: LGBTQIA+ and Voice Acting panel hosted by Ciaran Strange. When the recording starts, the panelists were talking about how things have changed, but how far things still have to go. Then, the panel and audience shared recommendations of anime and manga that include good examples of representation, such as Bloom into You and Stripping the Flesh. Lastly, they talked about working in the voice-over industry as a queer person, which included some frank discussion about whether its better to get gender affirming care prior to trying to start a career. They also talked about other aspects of that diversity in voice-over that could be improved, such as disability and age.

The Gameslave Podcast - S2E02 - COAF 2024 Opening Ceremonies

Hello listeners! It took a little longer than I anticipated to get this episode up, but I now have a path to finish all of our COAF episodes in a timely manner. This means that you can look forward to weekly episodes for the next couple of months.

The Gameslave Podcast - Ep. 259 - Legacy of Voice Acting

Today’s episode is a leftover from NDK 2022, which I didn’t manage to get edited in time to post last year. This penultimate podcast from NDK is a panel with John and Olivia Swasey, and father and daughter who have both found careers in voice acting. They talk about working with each other, finding your niche in the VO industry, and how the industry has evolved from the time that John started working to now. A warning, there is one, very loud instance of the F-word being used in this recording. If you prefer not to hear that, we recommend that you consider skipping this episode.

The Gameslave Podcast - Food Opinions to Get you Canceled Panel

The next in our Colorado Anime Fest podcasts, an panel with Xander Mobus and Khoi Dao on the various bad food opinions that everyone has.

The Gameslave Podcast - Cherami Leigh Q&A Panel

We recorded Cherami Leigh's Voice actor Q&A panel at Nan Desu Kan 2018. The audio quality is not the best; we were in a large room and some of the audience members were a long ways from the microphone. You won't always be able to hear the questions, but you should be able to here Cherami's answers.
