It has been 3 years since we heard from Bungie. They made Halo: Reach and then left Microsoft for Activision. Since then we have been left wondering, what is going to be their next big thing. What are they going to do in order to surpass the legacy that they left with Halo? That question has now been answered with Destiny. But what is Destiny, and more importantly, should we care?

The console market is changing.
Denver Comic Con has announced yet more guests that have their spawn points set to the Denver Convention Center. And with this most recent one we actually have 1/2 the cast from The Guild. We present none other then the one, the only, Felicia Day! In addition to her work on The Guild and Buffy The Vampire Slayer she has started a mostly geek focused YouTube channel called Geek and Sundry. She is a true queen of geeks.
Next up is Allen Bellman and Ramona Fradon. Allen has been in the business since the Golden Age of comics. While only a teenager he did backgrounds for Syd Shores' Captain America in 1942 and not slowed down since. He record includes titles such as The Patriot, The Destroyer, The Human Torch, Jap Buster Johnson and Jet Dixon fo the Space Squadron, Young Allies and much much more. Ramona has been in comics since 1950 and was a key individual in ushering in the Silver Age of comics with illustrations of Auquaman and Metamorpho for DC. Then in the 1970s she pencilled almost every issue of Super Friends and her strip Brenda Starr was seen for 15 years in newspapers everywhere until she retired in 1995. Just recently she released The Dinosaur That Got Tired of Being Extinct for all ages.

Well, Nintendo hopes to help make your decision in their favor with a new Wii U bundle available Sunday February 17th. The exclusive bundle entitled, The Wii U ZombiU Deluxe Set, will include a Deluxe Wii U (32GB), a Pro Controller, a copy of ZombiU with an art book and developer commentary, a download of Nintendo Land and enrollment in the Deluxe Digital Promotion. The MSRP for the new bundle is $390. Since launching last November, Nintendo has sold 3 million Wii U units. I can only imagine Nintendo is trying to attract gamers to their system before the potential unveiling of both the PS3 and XBOX 360 successors in the coming weeks. Will you be going out and purchasing this new bundle, are you still hesitant on shelling out your hard earned money on a system that is losing exclusive rights to video games (Rayman Legends), or are you content without having the Wii U in your collection?

A number of games are released each and every year. Some are horrible, some are great. But which game that came in 2012 stands out above and beyond the rest? The nominees are:
Borderlands 2
Mass Effect 3
Guild Wars 2
Dishonored
And the winner of the 2012 Best Gameslave Game of the Year is Borderlands 2. This game has it all. It has an excellent shooting mechanic, masterful use of RPG elements, single and mutli-player gameplay this game deserves Game of the Year. Every year there are games that people expect great things from. They expect them to be the epitome of gaming, they expect nothing but the best. Too bad some of these game let down the player. The game is not what they expected and it disappoints the player. We did not have a bunch of games this year that let us down, but that does not mean we did not have any.
Diablo III was expected to be great. It was expected to be the next great game we played over and over. But, while it was a good game, it was not the game we expected. We had fun with it, but it was not the greatness we expected. Sure they are still patching it and making changes, but as of now the game, while good, was a disappointment to a number of gamers.
WIth each new year we see more and more great games. We cannot wait to play the newest things that come out, but a few always stand out above the rest. Here are the games that we cannot wait to play.

Of these one stands above the rest. Bioshock Infinite is set to come out on March 26, 2013. Given how good the original BioShock, and that the same team is making this one, people cannot wait to play this game.
